Design Your Own Apple Juice Label at Sierra Cider
Looking for fun things to do near Yosemite this weekend? Make a stop in Mariposa, California and spend the day at Sierra Cider for our Design Your Own Apple Juice Label event this Saturday, August 22.
We’ll have our glass swing-top bottles filled with fresh-pressed apple juice, with a blank label ready for kids (or adults!) to decorate. Draw a picture, write your name, or create your own masterpiece, then take home a personalized bottle of fresh apple juice. Bottles are $15 each, or $20 for a bottle of hard cider for the grown-ups.
We’ll also be putting our cider press to work with a live cider pressing during the day. It’s a chance to see how fresh-picked Mariposa apples go from the orchard to the bottle and experience a little of what makes the Sierra foothills such a special place for apples and cider.
If you’re looking for apple picking near Yosemite or family-friendly activities in Mariposa, our orchard will also have three apple varieties available for U-pick: Honeycrisp, Sweet Sixteen, and Jonathan. Pick your own apples, explore the orchard, watch the cider pressing, and make a custom bottle of juice to take home.
Sierra Cider is a great stop for visitors looking for things to do in Mariposa, especially if you’re spending the weekend exploring Yosemite National Park, driving through the Sierra foothills, or looking for a relaxing family activity outside the park. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, come slow down among the apple trees with fresh juice, local hard cider, and a little hands-on orchard fun.
Come make a day of it in Mariposa this Saturday—and make your own bottle while you’re here!
